Today is Monday,

July 7th, and I feel like (and probably look like)

Not feelin too excited about work either

I haven’t been home to my apartment in 4ish days! I wonder if my housemates think I’m dead

…they probably didn’t even notice I was gone

today is a lumpy one monday

Things on treasure island

It’s really not that bad of a place to live. It’s quiet and modest and a pretty bus ride away from the mainland

(It’s also not as small as I depicted there)

Ummm

I think all the articles of clothing (shoes included) in my room right now each cost me ≤ $15

But actually. Thank you gifts/handmedowns/thrifting/children’s clothes

SF: some things I’ve noticed

after living here for a week!

1. I’ve been spoiled by NY & Japan—Muni buses aren’t quite as super consistent for pub transpo

2. The daily weather, though, = consistent. It’s pretty chilly at night but liking the cool & clear during the day

3. Homelessness feels more visible here than anywhere else I’ve lived in this country

4. There are so many lovely food places I’d like to try but can’t afford

5. But you can buy a carton of pretty good strawberries for 1.49 if you know where to look

6. Smells like weed pretty much everywhere
